The RL5P is a semi-automatic personal defense weapon which sports a forward ambidextrous non-reciprocating side charge design. The 4" barrel is topped off with an extended flash hider and packed into a 5 3/4" lightweight free float handguard. Raven Lake's billet pistol upper receiver houses Raven Lake's proprietary bolt carrier group and spring system. Raven Lake Armory's MP5 magazine specific billet lower receiver contains a Davidson Defense 3lb trigger pack with anti-walk pins, an ambidextrous safety selector, and is rounded out with a Battle Arms Development multi-position grip. This weapon has no stock or brace and has a self-contained buffer system in the upper receiver. The RL5P sports a vertical rail mount for the mounting of a side fold brace or stock for a licensed SBR build.
